Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an icon of justice. She was a path maker from an early age, often one of very few women in the room. Her deep belief in justice led her to argue for and author or support fundamental rulings to support women’s choice; defense of people with disabilities, including mental health; the rights of LBGQTI, and protection of the environment. Her iconic lace jabots and pearls are shown in this Diva. Her medallion is comprised of turquoise – which promotes truth-telling, and a monarch’s wing, which carries the spirits of past generations and wisdom. After her first round of cancer at the age of 66, she started working with a personal trainer. Her commitment to physical strength is depicted in the swinging weights in her left hand. RBG’s message to us is: Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you
