Hecate
Raise your light when at a crossroad to see all directions

Hecate is the crone of the triple goddess Persephone-Maiden, Demeter-mother, and Hecate-crone. She is often associated with witchcraft, magic and the underworld, but she is also strongly associated with crossroads. In ancient Greece, pillars called Hecataea stood at crossroads, boundaries and thresholds to be vigilant and keep away evil spirits. This Diva’s medallion is made of a monarch butterfly’s wing and milkweed seeds with their floss. The monarch represents the souls of those departed who Hecate protects and the milkweed signifies the flight of time. Her wings are accented with goldstone. We all walk in the shadows from time to time, but goldstone shows us how to turn on our own inner light of radiance and joy. Hecate’s message is to raise your light when at a crossroad to see all directions
