Heart Across Space & Time

We understand “heart” as both love and courage. Sometimes one or both can feel quite distant. While the distance between us and those we love or between ourselves and the courage life demands of us may be great, within our hearts, we can shrink that space. Holding the ones we love close can calm our hearts and soothe our minds no matter how far apart we are. Similarly, faith in our own capabilities can build our courage. This totem’s medallion features organic roses (from my own garden). She stands resolute with hand on her hip, but with the wings of a bird carrying her to heights and a range of peaks which ground her for solidity and strength. Her heart is bold, capable of sustaining love for others and love for oneself
