Höelun

The young and beautiful Höelun was abducted by an ambitious warlord just days after her wedding to a high-ranking official in a different clan. She remained with Yesügei, her abductor, and bore him five children, including her first-born son, Temujin, who would later become known by his title, Ghengis Khan. Yesügei was poisoned, leaving Höelun to navigate raising her five young children without the protection provided to her by her husband’s clan.
