Durga is the Hindu goddess associated with protection, strength, and motherhood. Her role is to fight all evil which threatens peace, prosperity, and dharma. In short, Durga represents the power of good over evil. In her medallion is a star of tiger’s eye, the stone of courage, power, and protection. Like Durga, tiger’s eye also protects from the evil eye and can remove negative energies. Surrounding the tiger’s eye are a circle of jasper bears. Jasper carries an energy of peace and tranquility, offering patience and understanding to those who connect with it. This Diva stands vigilant, but not aggressively so.
