Artemis

To the Greeks, Artemis was the moon goddess, an independent free woman, the goddess of wild nature, who danced in mountains, forests, and marshes, protector of girls and young women. Artemis’ horseshoe has the ends pointing upward to ensure that good luck is collected and protected. Artemis’ medallion presents a full moon, marigold petals and two monarch wings. Marigolds symbolize positive emotions and energy such as warmth, happiness, joy, optimism, and good luck. Both monarch butterflies and marigolds are linked with remembering and honoring the dead. Artemis’ message is that good luck and positive emotions are ours as long as we make and keep space for them
