Machi are shaman of the Mapuche culture in Chile and Argentine. The machi has great wisdom and healing power. The machi has detailed knowledge of medicinal herbs and other remedies, and is also said to have the power of the spirits and the ability to interpret dreams. This machi has a medallion with a leaf surrounded by gold beads. The leaf signifies fertility, hope, abundance, growth, peace, victory, death, and rebirth. Gold symbolizes purity in a spiritual sense and development of total understanding. Machi's message to us is that nature offers us healing, hope and spiritual development.
